Dr. Shuyan (Susan) Rofe combines a unique background in technology and healthcare, holding a Master’s Degree in Computer Science and a DDS from the New York University College of Dentistry, where she graduated in the top percentile of her class. Following dental school, Dr. Rofe pursued advanced hospital dentistry training at the University of Michigan Hospital, gaining extensive experience working with cancer patients, individuals with special needs, and those with complex medical conditions.

After completing her residency, Dr. Rofe worked in both public health and private practice, developing a well-rounded expertise in caring for diverse patient populations. She completed a rigorous two-year Implant Continuum Course at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, where she now teaches as a Dean’s Faculty for the Implant Continuum Program. Dr. Rofe also recently concluded a six-year contract as a commissioned Dental Officer with the Army National Guard. Guided by her motto, “Pursue excellence, success will follow,” Dr. Rofe is dedicated to continuous learning, attending over 100 hours of continuing education each year. Known for her kindness, gentleness, and compassion, Dr. Rofe is well-loved by both her colleagues and her patients.

In her spare time, Dr. Rofe enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, running, photography, and traveling.
