Tooth Bonding and Veneers
Our North Bethesda dental team transforms smiles every day with a variety of cosmetic dental treatments, two of which include tooth bonding and veneers.
Dental veneers are used to cover the front surface of a tooth to improve the appearance of them, and create a uniform look. They are a thin, custom “shell” typically made of porcelain, composite resin or ceramic and with the use of our state-of-the-art iTero Scanner, our doctors will design them to match the shape, size and shade to match your other teeth.
Veneers are long-lasting and you look after them like your natural teeth. You may have a small amount of your tooth’s surface removed to fit the shell over your tooth so it fits like a glove. We use a special light to harden the adhesive which will set them in place.
Tooth bonding is another way to remediate chipped, misshapen, discolored, or superficially cracked teeth. Our doctors will roughen the tooth’s surface, applying a bonding agent and composite resin to sculpt the tooth as needed. Once the resin is hardened with the special light, your tooth will be polished to match your natural teeth.
These procedures are a quick and cost-effective way to improve the look of your smile without invasive treatments, and we are happy to discuss your options with you.
